Edwin Charnaud to lead division alongside current role as head of EMEA M&A.

Insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh has appointed Edwin Charnaud as chairman of its global infrastructure practice.

Currently the firm’s head of private equity and mergers and acquisitions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Charnaud will retain this role as well as becoming responsible for the strategic development of Marsh’s infrastructure practice, which provides analytical and transactional support to infrastructure clients.

Reporting to Jim Pierce, the firm’s chairman of global industries, Charnaud will continue to be based in London.
