Investment management firm names new director of asset allocation research.
Investment management firm Baring Asset Management has hired Christopher Mahon as director of asset allocation research.
In this London-based role, Mahon will provide strategic recommendations for asset allocation to the multi asset team as well as sitting on the Strategic Policy Group, the company’s global macro research and asset allocation committee.
He joins the firm from Momentum Global Investment Management, where he was head of investment strategy.
Mahon, who starts at Barings in September, will report to Percival Stanion, head of the global multi-asset group and chairman of the Strategic Policy Group.
