Mercer, an investment services consultancy, has named Giles Archibald as its new EMEA head of M&A consulting.
Archibald, already a senior partner at the company, steps up from head of client services following Eric Warner’s retirement.
He will be based in the firm’s London and Manchester offices. Peter Baynham continues as head of M&A consulting for the UK and Ireland.
Archibald has several years experience as an international consultant advising multinationals on employee benefits and HR issues. He joined Mercer in 1977 and during that time has also served as its head of international retirement.
