Fass joins Australian bank as regional CEO.

Macquarie, an Australian investment bank, has made David Fass the chief executive of its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Fass has spent 25 years in the financial services industry and joins Macquarie after a decade at Deutsche Bank in London. During his time as European head of the German lender’s global banking division he expanded its corporate finance and commercial banking operations.

Macquarie’s EMEA operations comprise more than 1,550 people in 18 offices across 13 countries.

Fass said his appointment will enforce Macquarie’s commitment to growing its operations in the region.
