Weil makes European finance hire

Lucas moves from Linklaters as Weil’s fourth new partner this year.

Law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges has hired Stephen Lucas as a partner in its European finance practice.

Lucas joins from Linklaters and will work in Weil’s London office. He’s the fourth new partner to join Weil’s London office this – it has also hired Jones Day restructuring head Adam Plainer, former Ashurst banking partner James Hogben and high yield specialist Rob Ferguson to its capital markets team.
