Fletcher takes sole charge while Duffy focuses on Irish growth.
BNY Mellon has named Dean Fletcher as the sole head of its corporate trust business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Fletcher had been co-head of the business with Joe Duffy, who steps down from the role to focus on growing the bank’s business in Ireland, where he is chief executive.
Fletcher continues to report to James Maitland, head of client and business development for EMEA and Asia Pacific.
He joined BNY Mellon Corporate Trust in 2008 as head of structured products for EMEA. Prior to this he spent five years at JPMorgan Chase Worldwide Securities Services and three years at Barclays Capital Services.
