New COO named alongside global markets and finance heads.
Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking has made a string of new appointments to start 2012.
Christophe Leblanc becomes chief operating officer, in charge of operations, IT and finance. He replaces Christophe Hioco, who retired a the end of 2011. Lebanc was previously chief operating officer for global markets, a position he held since 2009.
Dan Fields has been appointed head of global markets. He held the position’s deputy role since February 2011, prior to which he was global head of trading.
Pierre Palmieri is the bank’s new head of global finance. He was previously deputy head, prior to which he was global co-head of natural resources and energy financing.
