Qatari bank raises US$750mn

Commercial Bank of Qatar closes order book for five-year paper at US$3.2bn.

Commercial Bank of Qatar has sold US$750mn-worth of bonds to international investors.

The deal comes as part of the bank's US$5bn euro medium-term note programme. The five-year paper was priced with a coupon of 2.875%, with a spread of 117 basis points over mid-swaps. The order book closed at more than US$3.2bn.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, HSBC and Morgan Stanley were lead arrangers.
