Clyde & Co has appointed partner David McElveney to head the firm’s Abu Dhabi construction and projects practice. His arrival boosts the firm’s already well established construction and projects practice in Abu Dhabi and the GCC to a total of 14 partners and associates.
McElveney is a recognised construction, engineering and projects law specialist with over 22 years’ experience working on a range of projects internationally. McElveney was formerly the head of the construction and engineering practice of Deacons, a major Australian and international law firm.
McElveney’s move to Clyde & Co comes soon after the addition of regional construction expert Mark Blanksby and team from Pinsent Masons in mid 2008 into the firm’s Dubai office.
