Olivetree unveils new appointments

Former Citi and Credit Suisse trading heads join equities broker.

Olivetree Securities, a UK-based equities broker, has strengthened its operations by making two new appointments. 

The firm has hired Timothy Daniels and Siobhan McGeever, who join the firm’s sector strategy group and distribution team respectively.

Daniels, a former director of principal trading at Citigroup, joins from Panmure Gordon where he was director of equity sales. He will focus on the TMT sector at Olivetree.

His previous roles include fund manager and analyst at Walter Capital Management and director of equities at M&G Investment.

McGeever joins the firm from Knight Capital Europe where she was vice president and sales trader for European and US cash equities. She has also held positions at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley focusing on European cash equities sales and sales trading.
  
Olivetree’s founder and chief executive, Daryn Kutner, said these appointments will help expand the firm’s market presence.
