DLA lawyer follows former boss to new firm.
Law firm Pinsent Masons has strengthened its banking and finance team in the Gulf with the appointment of senior associate Amir Ahmad.
Ahmad will be based in Pinsent Masons' Dubai office and will report to Al-Harith Sinclair, recently appointed to run the firms' new Islamic finance practice.
Ahmad joins Pinsent Masons from DLA Piper Dubai, where he previously worked alongside Al-Harith Sinclair's team. During 10 years in finance law he has worked in the Netherlands, Bahrain and Dubai.
