Former Philippines global banking head to lead GSG Europe.

Citi has appointed Kristine Braden as head of its global subsidiaries group (GSG) in Europe.

Part of Braden's remit is to provide financial services to the bank’s largest multi-national clients which have subsidiaries in Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS.

She replaces Fernando Iraola after he became Citi’s chief executive of transaction services in Latin America and Mexico.

Based in London Braden reports to Robert Snell, head of global subsidiaries, and joins the bank’s GSG executive committee.

She joined Citi in 1998 and was most recently global banking head in the Philippines. Braden has also held positions at the bank’s corporate, fixed income and transaction services teams in Hong Kong.
