Islamic institution hires Citi director as new head of wholesale banking.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has appointed Arif Usmani as global head of its wholesale banking business.
Usmani has worked in the banking industry for more than 30 years in areas including risk management, corporate relationship banking and franchise management.
Most recently, he was managing director and country officer at Citibank Pakistan, responsible for corporate and investment banking as well as commercial and consumer businesses.
He has also acted as chief risk officer at Samba Financial Group in Saudi Arabia.
