Former NASDAQ Dubai CEO joins emirate’s business hub.

Jeff Singer has joined the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Authority as chief executive.

He takes the new post following four years as chief executive of the NASDAQ Dubai stock exchange, which he joined when it was known as DIFX.

Singer will oversee the division of the DIFC in charge of the onshore financial centre in which NASDAQ Dubai is based.

Announcing his move, Singer said: “As chief executive of the DIFC Authority, I look forward to supporting NASDAQ Dubai as it plays a key role in the evolution of the UAE’s capital markets, competing successfully for new listings and investment with international exchanges around the world.”
