Bank names DCM and SWF bosses as co-heads for MENA investment banking.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch has named Hakim Karoui and Wadih Boueiz as co-heads of corporate and investment banking for the Middle East and North Africa.
They will report to Elif Bilgi, co-head of emerging markets excluding Asia for investment banking, and Phil Southwell, president and country executive for the Middle East and North Africa.
Boueiz continues to lead the bank’s MENA sovereign wealth funds coverage. Karoui continues to lead debt capital markets and corporate banking activities in the region.
