Bank provides €5.5mn loan to printing house Billboard.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has backed Billboard AD, a publicly listed Bulgarian printing and advertising business, with a €5.5mn (US$7.1mn) loan.
Billboard will use the money to improve its capital structure, better matching its long-term debt to current and future cash flows.
The deal comes as part of the EBRD’s efforts to support small business in Bulgaria, where it has already committed more than €2.5bn over the years. The loan was arranged under the EBRD-Italy Local Enterprise Facility (LEF), which was introduced in Bulgaria in January 2011.
