BOS eurobond attracts European and Asian investors.

Bank Ochrony Srodowiska (BOS), a Polish bank, has raised €250mn after successfully issuing its inaugural international eurobond.

More than two-thirds of the five-year unsecured bond, which has a fixed coupon of 6%, was placed outside of Poland. Austria represented the strongest foreign investor base, followed by Switzerland, the Benelux and Asia.

BOS, which is majority owned by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, appointed Raiffeisen Bank International, Barclays Capital and ING as its bookrunners for the transaction.

Those participating in the transaction included asset managers, private banking clients, insurance companies and banks.
