Majid Al Ghurair leaves after 11 years in role.
SHUAA Capital, a Dubai-based investment bank, has appointed Sheikh Maktoum bin Hasher Al Maktoum as its new chairman.
Announcing first-quarter results that showed a AED26.3mn (US$7mn) loss compared to a AED19.5mn profit for the same period last year, the bank confirmed that Majid Al Ghurair is stepping down after 11 years as chairman.
Hasher Al Maktoum is chairman of Dubai International Holding and president of Al Fajer Properties.
