New CEEMEA equities head joins from Morgan Stanley.

Michel Sindelar is to join Bank of America Merrill Lynch as its head of CEEMEA emerging market equities. 

He takes up his new role in January, when he will be responsible for all aspects of the bank’s emerging markets equity sales and trading businesses in the region.

Sindelar joins from Morgan Stanley, where he was a managing director and head of emerging markets equity.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley he co-managed the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa fund of Swiss private bank Lombard Odier. He also spent four years on the emerging markets equity sales desk at Credit Suisse.

Based in London, he will report to Fabrizio Gallo, global head of equities, and Bernie Mensah, global head of emerging markets (ex-Asia) sales and trading for equities and FICC.
