Bahraini investment firm acquires UK-based company in secondary buy-out.
Bahraini investment firm Investcorp has led a management buy-out of GL Education Group (GLE), a UK-based company selling student-assessment products to teachers.
GLE was sold by Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a private equity firm, which claims to have tripled the company’s profits in the six years since it bought the business.
Adrian Eaglestone, managing director of GLE, said he now hopes to expand the company's international business under its new ownership, with a focus on acquisitions.
