Botteri to look at cloud, SaaS and Internet companies.
Venture capital firm Accel Partners has hired Philippe Botteri in its European investment team.
Based in London, the Frenchman will originate and execute opportunities in cloud computing, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Internet businesses.
Botteri has worked in the technology sector in Europe and the US for the past 13 years. He joins the firm from the Silicon Valley office of Bessemer Venture Partners, where he helped to build a cloud computing practice and worked on several US and European technology investments, including French internet company Criteo and US-based marketing tool Bizo.
His previous positions have included working in McKinsey & Co’s high technology practice.
