York heads to Citi

New MD completes capital introduction management team.

Citi has appointed Christy York as managing director and head of capital introduction for its prime finance business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

York completes a management team that matches global hedge funds with investors. The team comprises Beth Neely, capital introductions Americas head, and Martin Visairas, who is responsible for Asia.

York reports to Paul Harvey, prime finance head of sales and capital introduction in EMEA, and Chris Greer, global head of capital introductions.

He has 20 years of hedge fund experience and joins the bank from asset management firm TRG Management, where he was responsible for capital raisings.

York has also led capital raisings at PMA Investment Advisors and Charlemagne Capital. During seven years at Deutsche Bank he held several senior management roles that included European head of capital introduction services.
