Co-head for Russian capital markets rejoins bank from UBS.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Maxim Lojevsky as its managing director and co-head of capital markets for Russia and the CIS.

Lojevsky rejoins Deutsche from UBS, where he was head of sales, coverage and debt capital markets for Russia and the CIS for the past two years. Prior to this he spent three years at Deutsche as a senior originator for Russia and the CIS.

He joins fellow managing director Vadim Martynenko in leading the capital markets team in the region. Both report to Nizar Al-Bassam, head of CEEMEA sales and coverage, and Batubay Ozkan, head of global markets for Russia and the CIS. Al-Bassam said Lojevsky’s appointment strengthens the bank’s team in a dynamic market.
