Bank promotes Remy to head of BNP Paribas Fortis Corporate and Investment Banking.
BNP Paribas has named Dominique Remy head of BNP Paribas Fortis Corporate and Investment Banking.
Remy takes the role in addition to his responsibilities as global head of structured finance for BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking
In the new job, Remy will supervise all client coverage and country management teams other than those in the Investment Banking Europe division, which remain under the responsibility of Thierry Varène, head of investment banking for Europe and global head of corporate finance.
A veteran of the bank, Remy joined BNP Paribas in 1979 and has held several positions in the financing and commodity fields in North America and Europe. He was appointed global head of structured finance for BNP Paribas and BNP Paribas Fortis in 2009.
