French bank promotes senior UK country manager to head of EMEA wholesale banking.

Natixis has promoted Pierre-Henri Denain to head of EMEA in its wholesale banking division.

In his new role, Denain will report to Olivier Perquel, head of financing and global markets. He'll continue in his role as senior country manager for the UK.

Denain's previous positions have included head of the French global markets division at Credit Suisse Financial Products; head of France, Switzerland and Benelux global markets at General Re Financial Products; head of derivatives sales at CDC Ixis; and managing director in the fixed-income department as well as head of French global markets at Citi.

He joined Natixis in 2006 as head of fixed-income sales for Europe, and was appointed head of capital markets in London in 2009.
