Kuwaiti firm hires former Rothschild banker to run investment-banking business.
Global Investment House, a Kuwaiti firm, has hired Michael Helou to run its investment-banking business.
Helou will become an executive vice-president at Global. He joins the firm with 20 years of experience in the industry, most of which comes from time spent at Rothschild, at which he set up a Middle East investment-banking business in 2006.
He later worked at Barclays Capital as head of its financial institutions group in the Middle East and North Africa.
