Commercial Bank of Dubai appoints new private banking head.
Commercial Bank of Dubai has appointed Akram Skaik its new head of private banking, charged with running the bank’s ultra-high-net-worth client base. He was previously the bank’s head of distribution, and prior to that was Dubai regional manager at Mashreq Bank.
The appointment is in line with the government’s policy of ‘emiratisation’. The firm currently has a local employment ratio of 41%, the national average standing at 34%.
