A new deputy CEO and COO at TBC Bank
Tornike Gogichaishvili joins the Georgian bank as deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer, and he tells EMEA Finance that the bank, like the country, is well positioned to springboard to the next level.
An investor darling, growing at a steady clip of 5%, ranking 6th just after South Korea on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business 2019 report (up two places from the previous year), reflecting an ambitious and outward-looking populous, Georgia is on a winning streak. This isn’t to say that the country cannot be unsettled or impacted by the economic and political affairs and happenings of its larger neighbours, it can.
At this moment, however, joining the country’s leading bank, provides an opportunity to reflect, while moving quickly forward to solidify key advantages in the marketplace. And, catching a rising star is always a good career move.
