Fidelity Bank Ghana appoints two new managing directors

Edward Opare-Donkor and Sameul Aidoo, two industry veterans, are promoted to deputy managing directors.

On 23 September, Fidelity Bank Ghana announced the appointments of Edward Opare-Donkor and Sameul Aidoo as deputy managing directors. Opare-Donkor, previously the bank’s chief operating officer, will head up operations and support functions, while Aidoo is in charge of wholesale banking. 

Opare-Donkor has over 15 years experience in banking, having begun his career at Fidelity Bank Ghana in 2002. Starting out as a finance officer in the Fidelity Discount House, he subsequently held roles including financial controller and director of finance. A chartered accountant, he holds an executive MBA degree from the University of Ghana Business School.
