BFX hires new CCO

Al Abdulla joins the Bahrain Financial Exchange.

The Bahrain Financial Exchange (BFX) has appointed Salah Al Abdulla as chief corporate officer.

With more than 12 years of experience in a corporate environment, Al Abdulla has initiated, developed and managed organisational structures for various regional companies. As part of his responsibilities at the BFX, he will lead the corporate affairs activities and will be responsible for the corporate relations and development of the human resource and administrative aspects of the business.

The BFX is the first multi-asset exchange in the Middle East and North Africa. In the first quarter of 2010, the exchange will be made internationally accessible to trade cash instruments, derivatives, structured products and shariah-compliant financial instruments.
